The number of weird places to see in the world is plenty, but a number of the really outdo the remainder concerning weirdness. As someone who loves to travel and discover unusual things about the planet that we live in, I have recently formed a compilation of the oddest places ever discovered. Though a majority of these regions and I haven’t visited, I will definitely visit if I get a chance and included them in my compilation. So, I thought that I should also share them with you and I trust you are going to enjoy.

All of us dream at some point in our life of retirement. The concept of retirement that is ideal changes between individuals but there’s one retirement hometown that made it into the news recently. Located in Florida, The Villages is reported to be among the biggest retirement community on the planet. Located in a place like Florida, The Vilages seems like an idyllic retirement spot. The truth is far from ideal and The Villages was recently thrusted into the spotlight because of the number of scandals and sexually transmitted diseases (STD) that has been reported. The large number of country clubs, golf courses, bars and restaurants in the area may seem like a location that is perfect though not when outrages and outside sex are prevalent.

Residing in the times of contemporary science and technology, relatively few people believe in superstition and conversing with the deceased. That is why Lily Dale might be the eeriest place to call house. Integrated back in 1879, Lily Dale is an area that is constructed with the objective of spiritual progress. But you’re looking for something to fill your soul that’s beyond stuff worth and if the concept of speaking to the hidden or invisible will not scare you, this may be the perfect area for you. There are courses ran throughout the year and prominent guest lecturers contain the likes of Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer.

Not all of us live in the deserts but everybody knows life might be unpleasant due to the scorching temperature and dryness. I was amazed when I discovered that there exists an underground city bustling with life that’s located right in the middle of a desert. Situated approximately under a thousand kilometers to the north of Adelaide, this underground city is named Coober Pedy. Mine was just a small compilation of areas that are found on our planet’s most bizarre. While these areas are all reachable, they are discovering how creative societies can get and their existence might merely open your mind to an alternative view of our planet and past the imagination of many. I am not going to lie, a few of these places seem a bit extreme for even me, but that will not stop me from experiencing something unbelievable if I’m blessed with the chance. Though there is an image said to say a thousand words, I am pretty sure the actual experience as well as feeling of the existence of these weird spots can simply be done through stepping your feet on them. I am certain more odd spots will probably be discovered and I’ll attempt to keep this list updated.
