Greg had a great intro segment on the homeschool/public school debate on his September 27th show. The argument he’s addressing here is the same one I made in my post titled “Are You a Child Missions Director?” It’s the argument that some Christians try to make where they say pulling our kids out of public school is wrong because the public school system needs a Christian witness in it’s midst. It’s a “salt and light” argument. My response to that, and Koukl’s as well, is that argument is horribly short sighted. It just never works out that way in reality. I heard Dobson say one time that when you put on white gloves and go out to work in the garden, the dirt isn’t going to get glovey. No, it’s your gloves that are going to get dirty. Anyway, it’s a good episode so go listen.
