My buddy turned me on to this recent Koukl interview with Stephen Meyer. I hadn’t heard of him, but after listening to how instrumental he’s been in the ID movement I was embarrassed that I hadn’t. The whole Smithosonian peer review thing must’ve gone right by me. Anyway, I’ve said for some time that eventually the hard sciences are going to have no other choice but to cave to some sort of intelligent design. They will get to a point where they won’t be able to continue with meaningful research if they continue to insist on a paradigm that isn’t true. Eventually you must accept reality, and evidently that tide is starting to turn pretty heavily now. Do yourself a favor and listen to this interview. It’s really, really fascinating. Koukl is good at interviews so it’s an easy listen. Here is his book: The Signature in the Cell.
